Ok guys...so hope you all like my new blog look!! I'm real excited about it!! Thanks to my friends Morgan & Quinci...I was able to find this website: http://cutestblogontheblock.blogspot.com/ where you can pick really cute templates...and use them on your blog too!!! It's kinda hard to figure out!! Luckily Morgan was willing to help me through it...THANKS GIRL!!! So yeah...hope you like the new look...and you should go check them out!! It's so true...

Well it's true...it really is!! This weekend with yet ANOTHER snow storm...I was outside trying to shovel and clean up the driveway...and while doing that...it really hit me. There's that phrase/poem thingy...

"Cleaning house while kids are growing...

...is like shoveling snow, while it's still snowing!!"

I just don't pick up Klous' toys...unless it's nap time...or bedtime...there's just no point, because as soon as I clean up...he's pulling them ALL out again!! So while I was outside shoveling...and it was still coming down...it all hit me...what my mom and sisters have up on their walls...it's true!!! Oh the joys of motherhood huh!! :) :) :) Yeah for snow though!!! :)

Mini-Vacation...unexpected...

We are finally back home after having to leave our house...AGAIN...we got home yesterday, but I didn't get these pictures on til now. Anyways...it was a nice little break to have...even thought it was unexpected, stressful, and boring during the day!! Klous just wasn't sure what to do...and was all screwed up on his sleep...and I didn't want to bring him swimming alone...so we waited for Daddy to get off work!!! But we're back home now...you can still smell the fumes...but not nearly as bad...so that's a good thing!! Here are some cute pictures from the hotel stay...

When we first got there Monday night...Klous ran right to the phone...and called anyone he could to try and figure out WHAT was going on!!! He was a little confused with the whole situation...but he looked pretty cute jabbering on and on!! Needless to say...the phone ended up taken apart, unhooked, and up in the corner!!!
Klous also had fun climbing around on new things...he obviously didn't climb up here...but he liked sitting there when I put him up!!! He tried crawling around, but I got a BIT nervous about that...since it was like 5.5 feet off the ground!!
The lamp shade also made a cute hat he thought...he thought he was funny crawling across the bed and onto the night stands!!!
While we waited for Daddy...Klous got in his jet ski and had to try it out!! Here he is driving it...even making the "vroooom" sound!!! :)
Ok...I'm ready...let's go swimming!!!
Yeah...Yeah...Yeah...water...a BIG bathtub!!!
Ummm...think he liked to ride in that in the room more then the water!!! But he liked the water...luckily it was warm...however had a HORRIBLE taste...and hurt your eyes...so we didn't last too long swimming!!
Daddy had to put on his "loin cloth" when he got out...didn't want to get too cold I guess!?!?! Goofy guy!!!
Another reason we got out of the pool...if you click on the picture...you can see the chunks!!! Zack-a-roni swallowed TOO MUCH water...and yep...all his dinner came up too...BLAH...it was pretty sick!!! So we didn't stay in the pool much after that happened!!! He was fine after getting that out though!! ha ha ha :)
And finally on Wednesday...Klous was just ready to go...he watched very intently and drank his bottle...as I packed everything up and got ready to leave!!! It was a fun little break, but it's nice to be back home!!! Guess we'll see how long it lasts this time...AHHHHHHHHHHH :)

put out AGAIN :(

Well here's another update...

Yesterday the restoration company showed up to do something next door. They needed some power...so of course had to plug-in on our side!! Well...I heard some spraying sound...and started to smell some stinky fumes. I went over to ask if I was supposed to open windows...since Klous & I were both there...SMELLING IT!!! The guy felt HORRIBLE and told me to open windows and see if that would help air it out.
I found out that they were spraying in there to cover up the fire smell that is still in the wood. They were going to do an ozone machine over there too...but opted for this spray instead!! Well this "spray"...is an OIL BASED PRIMER...and they had to spray EVERY stud and piece of wood...everything that smelt like fire/smoke. So it was a LOT of primer. So needless to say...Klous & I sat over there for about an hour dealing with it...and finally I called Ryan to have him come get us...it was making me sick...so I ran some errands while the guys finished it up...and when I came home they were done...I opened the windows and doors on our side...but remember it is DECEMBER and only 38 degrees or something??? So it was quite chilly in our house...so I closed some of the windows and doors...and turned the furnace up a bit...well that was NOT a good idea...it just blew the smell ALL through the house again. BLAH :P We dealt with it til about 4:00 when I had to go get Ryan from work...we stopped by the house so he could drop us off and go to school...and he smelt it...and said..."you guys should NOT be here"...he had a headache after about 5 minutes. It was SOOO strong...of course things didn't get any better by bedtime...so we talked to our landlord and got a hotel room last night. It's nice to have a "mini-vacation"...but it sucks too. I just really want my life back...where I can do what I want when I want...bake cookies...make dinner...whatever...not be kicked out every other week. It's so ANNOYING...don't worry...I voiced my opinion on the STUPID lady who doesn't find it necessary to let us know what's going on...our landlord isn't real thrilled with her actions either...we'll see what happens??? Probably nothing...
Anyways...we'll be at the hotel tonight too...and see how things are tomorrow...I went up to open windows again this morning and it was still STINKY...so we'll see!!! Thanks for reading my venting session!!! It feels better to let it out!!! Wish us luck!!! Stay tuned for pictures from our hotel stay too :)

The finished project...

Ok...so you all saw the start of our morning...and the START of the fun...but here is the FUN!!! I of course couldn't pass up making a SNOWMAN!!! Ryan & I realized it was the first snowman we've made together since we've been married...kinda funny huh!!! Anyways...Klous liked to watch...and sometimes "pat" the big snowball if he felt it necessary!!! Although we didn't get any pictures of that...dang it!! :)
Sorry this is so dark...it wasn't THAT early when we went out!! Just didn't flash right or something!!! Here's Daddy & Klous starting out though...didn't mean to make it sound like it was all just me & Klous in the last post...Ryan was helping too!!! :)
Klous had fun outside...EXCEPT for the times he would trip and do face plants in the snow :) ha ha ha :) I'm terrible I know...but I couldn't help but giggle a little...and tell Ryan to grab the camera!!! He was so cute with a face full of snow...he was fine both times it happened though!! Although this picture proves he was NOT happy!! :) Aren't I cute when I jump out of bed and throw on winter clothes!!! ha ha ha...yeah right :)
Ok...here it is...our finished product!! He's cute huh!! Klous was pretty happy with it...and would give it big hugs!! I did put a mouth on him after we got the pictures...oops!! I also took care of him through the day as it continued to snow and snow and snow...poor snowman was getting all covered again!! :)
Klous finally had enough and was running away from him!!!
Maybe we'll go out in the next couple days and make a Mommy & Baby Klous snowman too!! We need a snowman Jones family!! That would be cute huh!!! :) :) :) Yeah for snow!!!

Winter Wonderland!!! :)

Last night we hung out with some friends...and being my MOM'S daughter...I got a little nervous about staying late, because we were supposed to get 1-3 inches of snow!! Well nothing fell while we were there or even on our way home at 11:00 p.m...but when I woke up this morning, and looked outside...THIS is what I saw!!! :) :) :) :)

Yeah for a WHITE CHRISTMAS...well maybe...it is only December 1st...and who knows if it will really stick around 24 more days?? But I was at least excited about having some snow!! WOO HOO!!! It's so pretty, and clean looking, and just fun!!! Reminded me of Minnesota...and the fun Saturday's on the 3-wheeler and sled...I miss those days :(
So of course...being a Minnesotan...I couldn't resist...I wanted to go PLAY!!! I bundled Klous up...and as you can see he was ALL smiles!! Doing his CHEESER smile like his Daddy!!! :) :) :)
And we went outside...it was fun...Klous liked it too...although he didn't like it when I tried to get him to eat some...and it wasn't even yellow snow ;) :) ;)

'Tis the Season...

I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!! I can't believe it's this time of year already...but I sure am excited about it!!! This year, we decided we have NO room in our house...and Klous would just pull the tree over on top of him...so we opted for a small tree this year!!! I think it turned out cute...and now I don't have to worry about little fingers and hands ruining the thing!!! Klous does enjoy looking at it...seeing the cute ornaments we picked out...and talking about baby Jesus!!! I love Snowmen too if you can't tell!! They're all just so cute!! I hope that you are all as excited about this time of year as I am!! I'm excited to see how Klous will react this year compared to last year...and I'm excited to just be with Ryan & Klous...and I'm sad I can't be home in Minnesota for it, but happy that I can be in Utah with family too!! I'm grateful for all that our Savior has done for us, and for His amazing birth and life!! I'm grateful to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and for the knowledge I have because of it!! I'm grateful for all the many blessings I've received this year, and all the years before...for my amazing family...my husband...my baby boy...I couldn't ask for more!! I hope you are all filled with Joy, Peace, and Happiness this Christmas Season...and I hope that we will all REMEMBER the "Reason for the Season"!!!

P.S...don't mind the pine cones...our amazing home teacher brought them over for us to help with the smell in here!! They're cinnamon scented!! Yummy!!! :)
