Cabin Experience!!

This weekend the Attorney who works with the credit union invited the collections department and their families to spend some time at his cabin. So we went up Friday night and came home Saturday. It was very relaxing and fun...although there was not a lot of sleeping :(

Klous even was having TOO much fun to close his little eyes and go night night...he didn't fall asleep til almost midnight. Even with both Ryan & I trying our normal routine...was just too exciting I guess!!
But in the morning he had fun playing with his friend Vanessa and the doll house!! Tried to convince Ryan he needs one for his birthday :) Just kidding!!! :)
This is the amazing view from the deck that wraps around the cabin...someday Ryan and I will be rich and be able to afford something like this?? Yeah right...but we can wish right?!?!?
Klous really enjoyed playing on the deck and chasing his ball...although when we got home Saturday I felt real bad because the top of his feet and his knees has lots of little slivers from crawling :( That wasn't fun to have to get them all out...but he was a good sport!! Guess that'll teach me!!! :)

From carpet fuzzies....to shredded paper!!! :)

Our baby has kind of moved on....he has slowed down on eating the carpet fuzzies...and now is on to bigger and better things!!! SHREDDED PAPER!!! :) :( :)

Klous is amazed that his hand can fit into the shredded garbage can...although 9 times of out 10 it falls on top of him...(we're trying to move it somewhere out of baby reach...)
Even with it falling on him...he couldn't be happier because he has a HANDFUL of yummy paper...
As innocent as he looks...like he's just playing with it...his little mind is really working and plotting a plan...
to shove them in his mouth when I'm not looking...
He will eat them, suck on them, and do whatever he can to enjoy them!!!
Oh but he will be SO SO SO upset when you take him away from the paper, or try to swipe his mouth to get the paper chunks out!!!What is with him?? He just really enjoys the WEIRDEST things!!!

ELMO'S World!!!!

Well...what can I say...my baby loves Sesame Street too!!! :) Klous can be ANYWHERE in the house...and as soon as the music for Elmo's World starts...he finds the T.V. and crawls on over. He loves his Elmo, and really any of the fun people/monsters on Sesame Street!!!

Here he is just staring and listening to Elmo and Zoey talking about being friends!!!He also has to take in all the fun times with Dorothy!!! (Elmo's goldfish)...it's too cute.
Ryan finally got to see what I was talking about when we were on vacation...Klous will be totally content and playing somewhere while the t.v. is on...but as soon as that music comes on...he books it over to see his friend Elmo!!!

"La la la la, La la la la, ELMO'S WORLD...Elmo loves his goldfish, his crayon too....that's Elmo's World!!!"....that's the song!!! Well the words at least!!! :) :) :)

Change me please!!!

When we woke up this morning, I got a diaper out to change Klous. He was busy playing with his toys, so I thought I'd check my e-mail quick. When I looked to see what he was doing, he happened to crawl over by me...pulled the wipes off the coffee table...and got the diaper!!! I thought it was too cute, and had to get the camera...I took a couple pictures then got the hint that he wanted to be changed!!! I'm sure it was just a coincidence...but he was poopy...and really needed to be changed...I thought it was funny though that he got all the stuff for me to change him...then crawled to where I was!!! :) He's no dummy!!!

New hair...

Mommy & Klous got to get new looks this week/weekend!!! I put some highlights into mine...and got it cut....and Ryan & I attempted to buzz Klous'. He gets so sweaty in the heat, and I feel bad for him, so we thought we would try this and see if it helps him!!!
Klous wasn't too excited about having the clippers very close to his head...and kept turning to see what Mommy was doing...but we finally got it done....just buzzed the back and trimmed the top to help him cool down hopefully...

He's just starting to look like a little man more and more...but he's a VERY cute lil' man!!! :)

Klous does very well at getting himself all tangled up in wherever he can fit!!! Whether it's climbing in under the coffee table, the computer desk, through the chairs, or on the extra leaves of the table...he'll figure it out!! Daddy caught him today like this...

Reading his "mail" and crawling under the table & chairs...He was a little tired Ryan said and was resting his head on the chair...of course moved when Ryan got the camera...
He also doesn't always have a nice way of playing when you hold him close...it's a LOT of slapping on the head & face...he likes the "slapping & clapping" sounds!!!
But he also has a very sweet side and will kiss and make up for it!! Here he is giving Daddy BIG KISSES!!!
And Mommy too!!! :)
And just being silly and happy like usual!!! We love our baby boy!!!

Happy 4th of July :)

We had a very adventurous day today...not a lot of relaxing or rest on a day off...but that was alright!!! It was a good day!!! We hope you all had a great 4th of July and appreciated our freedom that we have!!!

Our day started off at 6:00 this morning, when we got up to get ready for the parade...in Provo, they have the Hot Air Balloons that take off in the morning...we weren't there to watch them go up, but this is what we saw when we got to Provo!!! I think I counted 24 in the sky...if you look close, there are some pretty cool balloons!!There was even one for Brooks & Dunn, (the country group), who was performing at Stadium of Fire tonight...
we made it to University Avenue, where people have been sleeping on the street for THREE days saving spots...Klous was VERY excited about the parade!!

Only in Provo, UT do you get a parade where LDS Missionaries walk in it!!! It was very cool though to have them all walking down the streets singing "Called to Serve"...very neat!!
I thought this was an amazing float...almost brought tears to my eyes...gotta love our soldiers and fire fighters...
Zack was VERY excited about Bob the Builder!!! Had to get a picture of this!!!

After the 2 hour parade, we had a picnic at Grandma & Grandpa Pulham's...then got to go home for a nap...after the nap, we came to Ryan's parents house where we got ready to watch some fireworks...

After these fireworks, we watched the Stadium of Fire fireworks then headed home for bed!!! I have officially decided that the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. I love the goosebumps I get when you hear stories or anything about our soldiers and the amazing things they are doing for each and every one of us!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! :)
