Teeth :)

Ok...so I told you all awhile ago that Klous was getting his teeth, and that they have actually poked through. He smiles big enough at times that you can see them...but at those times I don't ever have the camera :( So this morning I just got brave...tackled him on the floor...and held his mouth open!!! The pictures are a little fuzzy because he kept grabbing the camera, but here you go!!! He's got 3 teeth through...they're all on the bottom...and it's the 2 front ones and the next one on the left. Makes sense now why he's been waking up at night and been a little fussy the last few weeks!!! :)

Carpet Fuzzies??? What the???

Ok...this must come from Ryan's side?? Maybe?? Just kidding...I think he is doing this all on his own...but WHAT am I supposed to do about it?? AHHHHHHHHHHH :)

Well the last couple days, Klous has discovered the carpet...he gets into the position like he's going to do a push-up and examines the carpet...
He then decides he better get a little closer so he can really see what he wants...
Then he picks and pulls at the carpet until he FINALLY has some of the fuzzies, hairs, whatever he may find in his hand...
Then he proceeds to EAT THEM...AHHHHHHHHHHHH :) It's so gross...
He doesn't seem to mind and just looks at me like I'm the crazy one...
Then decides to ignore me telling him no, no...and continues to pick and eat more of the fuzzies...
And more...and more...and more...til they're tickling his tongue, roof of his mouth, and gums...
Then gets mad at ME cuz he doesn't like the feeling of the HAIRBALL he's choking on...like it's MY fault?? Silly kid...
Now Ryan & I are just waiting for him to have a poopy diaper and have hairballs or fuzzballs in his diaper...YIPPEE...what do I do?? Let him continue eating the carpet?? My goodness...he is one weird kid at times!!! Ryan is convinced he just need to floss the 3 teeth he finally has on the bottom...but who knows?? Seems like something pretty gross to use to floss...but whatever floats you boat I guess!! :)

Swingin' at the Park :)

We went to the park today with some friends...we had lunch and played. It was fun, and a beautiful day to do it. Not too hot, and not too cool...just right!!! Klous enjoyed swinging and watching the other kids...although the sun was a little too bright for him at times. We sure do have fun with him now that he's able to do more things and enjoy it better!! We just have to go to the park sometime on the weekend when Daddy can actually come with us too!!!

1st Mommy's Day :)

Well today was my first REAL Mother's Day...and it was great!! It's been a long time coming, so it was nice to have one. Klous & Ryan were sweet of course...but it was great to be able to reflect on the Moms and women in my life that have been such wonderful examples!! Here are a couple cute pics we got of Klous today...and his excitement as well about the day!!! He has discovered his fingers this weekend and is real amazed when they wave back at him!! He's also going to be crawling before we know it I think...as you can see below...but we're just enjoying him as he is now!! He is 7 months old now...today actually!! He's just getting TOO big!! :) Happy Mommy's Day to all you wonderful ladies!! :)

New Treat!!! NILLA WAFERS!!! :)

We've been having a tough time lately getting Klous to eat his cereal and veggies...not real sure what the problem is?? Anyways...we've discovered though that he REALLY like Nilla Wafers!!! We had to take pictures of how cute he is and how much he concentrates on them!! They're messy...and at times he gags...but he's pretty good at gumming them and finishing them!!

Look at that suspicious look!! Wonder what he's up to???Oh man...it's out of his reach and he can't get it....he's gonna get mad!!!
Ahhhhh YUM YUM YUM!!! Finally got it in my mouth...now time to make a mess for mommy!!

Must have water....

Well, earlier this week, it was pretty hot outside...and as you can see Klous was in his shorts and tanks!!! Well with a onesie too...eventually throughout the day, we would have to strip him down because he was getting hot. Anyways...Ryan likes to have his water bottle out...and set it on the floor when he's not drinking it...Klous manages to roll to where ever it is and get it!!! He just likes the water I guess?? Or maybe the fact that he can hold it?? I don't know...but either way...he WANTS the water...and if you take it from him...he's not too happy.

Hmmm...how can I get this lid turned so that I can get a drink of this??
Well maybe if I pretend like I'm not paying attention to the camera it'll work??
Oh well...whatever...I'll just chew, suck, slobber, and play with it!!! :) Either way it's fun!!

Getting Stuck... :)

I was checking my e-mail one day this week...when I realized something was kicking my feet...and also that he had rolled all over the floor and finally got stuck under my chair!! He didn't really know what to think or do...

He looked at me at first with this look of confusion...
Then came the...well maybe I can wiggle myself out of this predicament??
To finally...YEAH...this is fun...I can see Mommy...I'm just fine...and I'm HAPPY!!! :) :) :)
Needless to say...I had to move him, because he couldn't figure out how to get out of there!! But don't worry he continued to roll and roll until he was back by me!!! Just not stuck again!! :)
