Unbelievable...

So I debated over and over again about coming out and doing this at 1 a.m. this morning...or 2...or 3...or 4....but decided it wouldn't be worth it. After laying awake in bed for FOUR hours early this morning...sitting through 4 hours of contractions...and one whole hour of contractions that were 3 minutes apart consistently...I decided I better wake Ryan up. They were getting stronger and harder...and I didn't want anything to happen at home...so we decided which Mom we were going to call to come sit with Klous...ended up being mine, since she was closer. She came over...contractions were still going...and it just hurt...so we went to the hospital. Obviously crossed through that barrier wall or something that STOPS everything. We got all hooked up to monitors...listened to the baby...watched contractions...and NOTHING. For an hour they kept me and monitored me...no change in dilation...only 3 little contractions that entire time...and that was the extent of anything. I was so annoyed and frustrated...felt like a complete idiot for going in and having to wake up the family for nothing...it was pathetic. I was up for all that time...dealing with all that CRAP...and then when it's actually strong enough and close enough together...we go in and it all stops. DUMB...so yeah...here I sit, still at home...tired as a dog because by the time we got home...6:30 a.m...I tried to lay down and Klous was up an hour later and heaven forbid he plays without Mommy for awhile. BLAH...guess it'll be a good naptime today??? And I guess I'll just sit and twiddle my thumbs til Monday when I actually get the GOOD drugs to get and keep things going. BLAH...sorry for the venting.

Hey chica... hang in there. I can TOTALLY relate. I had contractions consistently from 33 weeks on. Some days were 3 min. apart for 4 hours. and then NOTHING! It is so freakin frustrating. But you are almost there. You are in the home stretch.

I hope Klous takes an extra long nap today so you can rest up. We are praying for you and baby girl. I think 11/22 would be a lovely birthday.

Oh sad! I'm sorry Becki! Too bad its so stinkin cold outside (it is here anyways) that Grandma probably doesn't want to take Klous out and play. I'll keep my fingers crossed for nice long naps for you guys today!! Good luck with everything!! Baby girl will be here SOON!! (Any names picked out yet?!?)

I went to the hospital twice with abby and they sent me home. Nothing sucks more than that. Not only do you feel stupid, but you start to get a little excited and then they say go home. I'm sorry, that totally sucks, good luck monday!

Same thing happened to me with my first. I was in so much pain, contractions strong and close together, go to the hospital, and "nothing". Dang! Well, I ended up going back in that night and then it was something more...and had the baby. Hopefully that will happen for you soon too!
