Advice??
Ok...so hopefully someone will have something good to say?? I don't know if it's just this pregnancy or if I'm having a major meltdown...but seems like I can do NOTHING right lately. I'm constantly yelling at Klous...when I'm not yelling, I'm crying because I'm so fed up with my emotions...then I calm down and play with him and apologize and things are ok...for like 20 minutes...then it starts all over again. When I'm not yelling or mad at him...I'm frustrated with Ryan...taking stupid things out on him...WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME??? I'm sick of being with people...sick of talking to people...sick of dealing with people...and sick of people's reactions to things I might say to them...and I'm not even being mean, rude, or anything. I don't get it...is my body really that out of whack?? I'm sick of it...I wasn't like this at all with Klous...things were great...but this little girl is giving us a run for our money...what the heck??? Is it just the hormones of the girl growing inside me mixed with my hormones!?!?! I don't get it??? If anyone has any advice or ideas I'd LOVE to hear them...hopefully this doesn't upset anyone when they read it...geez....what a joke!! Luckily I've taken Wednesday's OFF from watching that little girl...so it's just me and Klous today...and it's been GREAT so far...only a couple NO's and DON'Ts we'll see how the afternoon goes!!! HELP PLEASE!!! :) :( :) :( :) :( :) :( :) :( :) :( :) :( :) :( :)
"They" do say the hormones while carrying a girl are stronger. I would talk to my doctor about it, especially if it is scaring Klous. Other than that vitamin B6 and fish oil help regulate hormones. I am the mother who puts the two year old in the crib with some toys once I'm fed up and go take a nap. Sometimes I feel bad for being that kind of parent, but then I remember that I've never hit or full on yelled at Reuben and I feel like my plan works okay.
ReplyDeleteI love you! and hope you feel in more control soon!
Hey Becky! You need to get out of your house! Come to my house! Call me!
ReplyDeleteI'd say take care of you first. I mean, make sure you are getting enough of whatever makes you happy--sunlight, exercise, reading a good book, etc. Keep an eye on it though and maybe see your doctor if you are seriously having a hard time. I've had friends that didn't get depression the first time round and were hit with it with the second baby. Good luck, it sounds like a really tough time.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the doctor thing, and the walking thing. Some exercise and sunlight will be good, but you need some time without Klous. Have someone watch him for a couple of hours, like me. He would have a blast over here with the kids. Take an overnighter with Ryan to recharge. I've been there, I have 3 girls, you are for sure a little more crazy. Seriously though, let me watch Klous sometime.
ReplyDeleteSo if you do decide you need a break I'd be happy to have Klous come and play over here for a while. And if you decide you need a walk I'd love to go with you!
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe a girl's night out might do you some good! :)
I am glad you found my blog - it is fun to read your! We will have to get the boys together to play one of these afternoons - good luck with the "grumpiness" I'm not even prego and I get like that...no excuse for me. I have found that if I take time to read my scriptures first thing in the morning my day goes better
ReplyDeleteand chocolate!
but I have also heard that sugar will swing your moods so it might be time for me to back off the sugar too
I think that it is totally the hormones! We really should plan a lunch soon---it's always nice to get out, especially before your new baby gets here and it is still warm! My advice---diet vanilla pepsi, it always seems to make me feel better!
ReplyDeleteYou are so hormonal and whacky because you are having a GIRL! We women are already emotional and hormonal creatures, but when we are prego with another female, it doubles in intensity. Watch out woman! ha ha...
ReplyDeleteI agree with taking care of yourself first. I am not the best at it, but when I do something for me, I am 10x's better to all those around me.
Love ya,
Karen
Ahh I think its mostly normal for things to be different on different kids, but you can totally talk to your doctor cause he can help you out with all that ya know. Im pretty sure that is why you have a doctor. As for people getting mad at you for making comments I wouldn't worry about it because some people get mad no matter what you say, so they probablly would of even if you gave them a compliment. Don't eat yourself up, its life! Get some rest and totally put Klous in the crib or something and have some alone time. I take a bath with all the lights off for like 20 minutes and it usually helps me a LOT. good luck
